I recently bought this small medallion on EBay
minted and sold as a souvenir of the British Empire Exhibition
Which ran from April 1924 to October 1925.
Some parts of the huge Palace of Industry Pavilion became
The Gordon England car factory, producing Cups, Vans and Saloons in
Considerable numbers circa 3000+?, from 1926 ? Onwards.
The small brass medallion may find a place on my dash. In memoriam...
Regards
Bill G
Ps Anyone know if Austins exhibited at the Exhibition?
The Palace of Industry Pavilion was very extensive
