I think Bill has the correct unit; the coil ignition version has the main feed going to the centre pillar of each switch:

I think the apparent 'wrong' socket on the face is because you have the plug fitted to the socket, and we are seeing the back of the plug.
The main feed bar looks to have a soldered repair about half-way down - this seems to be a common fault and caused no end of problems on my coil version; I ended up running a separate wire from the ammeter terminal ...
Regarding the cut-out connections, the terminals should be marked on the insulation base D+ and A; usually the D terminal is the one on the right in your photo, and the A is the terminal on the 'centre' post.
