Hi Erich,
I’ve happy memories of visiting Seattle, once for
ACM SIGGRAPH in the early days of CGI.
Had my first “smoke” at a Salmon smoke house
On Bainbridge Island and met all the CGI folk who ended
up working for Lucasfilm, Pixar and Disney.
Had another trip there en route to Beaverton
Flying over Mount St Helens the week before it let go!
The tappet cover is from a sidevalve Reliant 3 wheeler
Bought cheap on EBay after a tip from Malcolm.
Bought some oil seal cord today and superglued it
into a loop. I will polish the plate and then Scotchbrite it
before trying out the Nyalic.
Knurled screws in alloy from A7 Workshop will finish
it off nicely.
Hope your own projects are doing well.
Regards
Bill G
