Stuck valve pins

My RP, so some unfathomable reason, has pin type valves rather than the earlier collett type and I had a similar problem extracting the pins. I suspect the problem is that, over the years, they get slightly bent and jam in the valves. I used a fine pin punch to remove then and replaced them with new ones (available from cherished suppliers).
