The Austin 7 Centenary Event 2022
I cannot wait for the event to happen, it is going to be a fantastic week surrounded by fantastic people who will make the event what it is.

We will be able to see hundreds of differnt  variations of the Austin Seven, it will be like looking at the Source book in 3D, with owners to talk to and exchange information with each other, we will see cars from collections that have not been out in public for decades and will probably not be seen at events again for years to come. The A7CA Archive display will allow us to view items of historic interest that are usualy not seen from one year to the next by us the membership, this alone is worth the trip.
Iam sure people will go away with a totaly different perspective of their own car and how they use it after the event.

This is not just another old car event, it is a week long Festival of Motoring, good daily events for all the family, good food to eat and good music and beer to pass the evenings.

Ive had the holidays penciled in the diary at work for over a year now, my busy working & social life will go on hold for what will be for me minimum of a two week event as we travel down before, then enjoy the event and travel back with friends.

With regards to pricing, a perspective from a relativly young enthusiast:

If i didnt play with Austin Sevens what would i be doing?

Watch top flight football - a ticket for a 90min game is starting at £95
A round of Golf on a local links course - £120 +
A days Fishing for Salmon on the Tay - £160
A weekend ticket to a Music festival - £300

The above i feel puts into perspective just how good value for money this event will be.

People complaining that the event is to far away, not at the right time of year etc - I can gaurantee there will be people traveling further than you, and people who have canceled or posponed more plans than you.

I know people are going to turn up on the Saturday, and suddenly realise just how big this event has been, and sadly they will have missed what was a real once in a lifetime opportunity to enjoy our cars to the full with people who appreciate them.

My biggest concern is what car to bring!!
