If you use stainless steel fasteners in aluminium, galvanic corrosion will eventually attack the aluminium.
It's not quite the catastrophe it sounds, and is only likely to cause a real problem if you use aluminium fasteners (e.g. pop rivets) to secure a large stainless part i.e. the bulk of stainless is significant in relation to the bulk of ally.
