Hi Jays,

I don't know if I posted the link previously. Here is a link to the fellow in Oz who rebuilds Klaxettes. As far as originality, I believe that some Ulsters were fitted with these. James Anderson's car has a Klaxette. I have no reason to endorse this fellow, other than I received a horn from him and it was as advertised. Plus, he later sent some spares at no extra cost.

On a Rist horn, the diaphragm can split, which makes affects the sound output, replacements parts are obtainable, I have fitted this and makes all the difference!

Thanks for the link Erich.  I’ll contact him and see what he’s got.  In the meantime I think my cobbled together set up will frighten old ladies pretty well.
