There is a photo of Colin Chapman in the latest MotorSport magazine working on an Austin 7 engine. Not seen this one before. Page 98 July edition

I think the photo was taken in the Allen brothers, Nigel and Michael's garage in Vallance Road where the Lotus Austin Formula car was built. Not sure of the date but early 1950's would be a guess.
