I´m restoring a 1933 Austin Seven Saloon, Can someone explain me how to remove the Brake cross shaft?

Crosshafts and zinc bushes have been extensively covered in the past so Search should reveal. If 1933, has on RHS puzzling  concentric tubes not intended to be separated and not supposed to be rigidly seized. Hopefully someone who posted can give a reference.
Late edit: The most informative articles were on the previous site. hopefully someone has assisted.
