RN / RP Windscreen Differences

I read on the old forum that the RN and RP Saloon windscreens are different and one fits one but not the other.  I have tried to find on the old forum but the search comes up with site expired.

Can anyone explain the difference between the two screens, I believe the RN’s where painted and RP’s chrome but also the hinge and corners of the screen are different!

Fitting an RP screen to an RN saloon will require a RP screen closer and some filler in the body to take the gaps in the bottom corners to keep you dry.

Hi Dave,  thanks for the clarification I thought there was a difference but not sure how in relation to the RN.
