No cyclecars at the moment I think, just the Salmson and a 20/25 Alvis. The Herefordshire Section of the V-CC certainly have had Morgans, all too often "Under restoration" and the pictured Mike and the sadly missed Ken Mais had a Sima Violet, for a while the alleged recorded slowest time up Shelsley. Chummy owning frame builders include Malcolm Lyon, maker of bamboo bikes such as illustrated in the current VSCC Bulletin, whilst a very well respected rider through the lanes on Wednesday was Trevor Jarvis, whose workshop near Tenbury Wells is still producing the legendary Flying Gate. Trevor is a former 2CV man.
As for asking for oil, I'm not sure that cylinder oil would be what I'd squirt into the three speed hub on my Dursley Pedersen.
Now, if anyone wants to learn more about cyclecars, some copies of the vital reference book, the Annotated Index, re still available, for a mere tenner a copy will wing its way to you.
