Ah-ha, I now realise who you are!

I thought I recognised the bonnet - it all becomes clear and I am certain you will work out a suitable solution, as you have with all the other 'required' modifications!

You could look at laser cut glass = no chips or micro fractures.

I would expect it to be more expensive that using a cutting wheel.
