Factory using up older style rads on the export cars?

The car in my photos also has R47 headlamps.

Yes- like the Chassis sent to Australia with no number which a few years back we were told would never have happened.

I suppose they thought the kangaroos wouldn't notice.

The Chummy has been fitted with small front mounted headlamps on factory? supplied brackets, while the windscreen mounts were still in place.

If your car left the factory (sans body) like the way you describe above, Tony, it certainly left many production run norms behind.

Thanks Ruairidh. So what stops the distance between the rad cowl and bulkhead from changing backwards or forwards if it is not fixed?
Thanks,

Nothing, the car flexes and if you bolt it hard down it eventually rips a hole in the top of the bulkhead - many will be able to relate to "correcting" this stay with a fastener!
