For Sale 1936 Opal
#1
For sale, my 1936 Opal registration BKF 494.

The three bearing engine has just been put back after a partial strip down to assess the quality of the overhaul that was done by the previous owner. I will very soon be fitting the radiator and hoses with a thermostat, prop shaft, floor and fitted carpet.  Five good tyres, new battery, petrol pump overhauled, new shallow allow sump fitted with studs and a silicon gasket.

There are spare crankcases, crankshafts, rods, cylinder blocks, one of which is original bore size. I also have an assortment of tools including a compressor and a Murad lathe.

I'm happy to accept any sensible offers, preferably for the whole lot, as it all needs to go.

Please PM me if you are genuinely interested and I can run through what I have done so far.

Peter Hamstead

Morning, please do you have any more photos of your Opal? Can you also let me know if it is possible to see the car and your location?
Many thanks. Colin.

Hi Colin,

If your not too far away and would like to have a look, you're very welcome. Just so you know, I would be happy with £6,000 and, if you wanted them, you can also have the lathe and accessories, a toolmakers chest full of taps, dies and micrometers etc. A compressor, spanners, torque wrench, gas torch plus other odds ans ends.
