The little vignette of the chummy looks so much like the hand of Douglas Maxfield (to me) though no evidence, of course. His original arftwork, that we showed in the art room in the Pop-up at Morton (so brilliantly organised by Tony's wife Anne) was just a delight. It is a shame that so much of this sort of art is never attributed to those who produced it. Douglas, for instance, was an idependent artist who would have done (and did) commercial work for many manufacturers,,
