Van Print
#1

I picked this up a few weeks ago at a local transport show. Correct me if im wrong but i can only presume that if you wanted your van sign written then you pencilled in your design to give to the sign writer. It is printed in 1/16 scale and judging by the age of the paper appears to be original and not a re print. Im thinking of framing it to put in the man cave  Smile

Yes, these prints were issued for personal signwriting.

Mike, did the factory ever produce similar prints for the AD bodied Vans?
Thanks,
Stephen

I don't think so, because they were not built at Longbridge - they were sold through the Austin dealerships, but were bodied by Startin. I've seen a similar print for the AVJ van, and there may well have been similar ones for the high-roofed version.

Yes, Sheddweller, what you have is an original. I have a similar one but ( sorry ) mine's in mint condition with no creases. They are rarely found.
