Chassis crack advise required - Ray Douglas - 18-03-2018
Hi need advice have noticed small crack at rear of chassis has anyone had experience in having this welded as repair

Hi Ray,
Not much info there.
How about telling us some more about your car such as model, year, history, general condition, etc. A few good photographs would be most useful and what its like on the road, such as any odd behaviour, etc?
You may then get some useful advice, as the chaps here will then have something to go on.

Hi thanks for getting back it is a chummy small crack is on nearside rail near rear spring just before rear cross member cant take any pictures at moment has anyone welded this problem

Sorry, Ray, but more info is needed. The problem may be trivial, or quite serious, but without knowing the exact position of the crack, which way it's running, how long/deep it is, whether the chassis is corroded and so on, it's impossible to know.
