So, according to tinternet. 65quid in 1936 is about £5800 today. I wonder if the Brescia is still for sale. Might ring them later.

I tried, but the operator said that the Strowger blocks in the local exchange were worn out and unlikely to be replaced any time soon....

Re the Gordon England 2 seater, re bodied at 8years old, my father had an early Cup in the '30s whose body apparently fell apart comprehensively....
