Torque tube anchor point - Nick Salmon - 20-07-2023

Please forgive me putting this on the main forum as well as the 'wants' (which I know some do not look at).

I'm changing the whole of the back axle on my Ruby. Currently has a ball type torque tube anchor point on the chassis crossmember. The replacement axle torque tube anchor is of the later type with a silentbloc bushed/bolt.

Has anyone got a later type torque tube anchor crossmember mounting brackets they would part with please?

Hi Nick

I think David has these (1A5523). But I may be wrong.

I made up a pair from thick angle section for my special. Perhaps not for the purist?

Cheers

Howard

Just swap the mount from the old axle to the new one and keep the original ball mount.

You are not wrong! I also stock the Silentbloc bush.
