Difficult starting - bob46320 - 11-07-2023

Over the last few days, the Easy starting 1932 RN that I have with the standard FZ22 carburettor, conventional coil ignition etc. changed from Pull out choke, a little bit of accelerator and one push on the starter button.  changed to:
Pull out choke, a little bit of accelerator and one long push on the starter button, followed by another push on the button, choke back in and a third long push on the starter button. Once running, she ran well.

Today a few miles down the road and on a country 'N' bend we coasted to a halt and she defied starting.  So with hind quarters pointing towards the centre of the road (Driving in France), removed both jets and found something blocking the main jet. Blew this clear, put all back together again and off we went - problem solved.

Easy fix as I had the right sized spanner to remove the big brass plugs in the carburettor and the correct jet box spanner - don't leave home without them !
