A delightful donation to the Archive - Archivist - 25-02-2022

The other day, I met up with Bob and Sally Bassett at the Archive when they donated a print of the 1938 Gordon Crosby 'Autocar' painting of Dodson in the Twin Cam at the British Empire Trophy at Donnington in 1938. This used to belong to Sally's Grandfather, Bill Rogers, also known as 'The Wizard' of the Longbridge Experimental Department. The story of 'The Wizard' was published in Association Magazine 2019D. With the new room that houses the Archive, we have more wall space and I plan to hang this, along with others, in the near future.

I would like to thank Sally and Bob for their generosity and thoughfulness in donating the print to the Archive...

Hugh
