Stripped bell housin thread. - John Mason - 29-01-2022

Hello all, On inspecting my Ruby I found a loose stud from the bell housing (Bell housing to gearbox) on further investigation I discovered the threads had been stripped this must have been done at the last time the gearbox was taken out and refitted. Not wishing to transfer blame but I had help and I did not do up these studs.
Does anybody know any possible way that this can be rectified without again removing the engine. Thus making it a simple rather than a major strip down job.

John Mason.

Forget it. Your car has much less power than supercharged models with the same and one less will matter little. After all many run with two engine mounts slack and effectively non functional, a 50% reduction.
