Searching for a picture - Archivist - 20-12-2021
I am on the search for the custodian of the attached painting. I understand it to have been in the Hadley family private collection, which I gather has been been dispersed. I was also given to understand that the painting went to auction and was bought by Kevin Wheatcroft. Having been in touch with Kevin, he confirmed that he did have the painitng for a while, but it was not his and has been returned to its owner, an Austin 7 owner. Sadly, he cannot now recall the name of that person. Does anyone know who may be the current custodian of the work and if so, could they get in touch off-line please. The other cars in the painting, from top left : Freikaiserwagen; ERA (Mays?); Bloody Mary; Frazer Nash (might be Alta?)
