Pearl Mk 2 ACA Hood - Martin Baker - 28-07-2021
Can someone please help me work out exactly how and where the two fore to aft webbing strips are fixed?
In particular where does the webbing start? Attached to the front edge or to the second cross strut?
My Pearl has ugly, very wide vinyl webbing going to the hinged front edge, which means it is not possible to roll up the cross struts into the hood. I plan to replace with seat belt type webbing but need guidance please. I've looked at all the Pinterest Pearl photos but they don't help.

Accepting the fact that the front of my roof is wrong (it has a shaped piece of wood instead of the correct piece of spring steel - a future project) this is how mine looks. The roof does pull up nice and taught and does seem to roll up ok...
