tracing the history of our Ruby - phillips - 01-04-2021

Hi all,

Over the last 20 odd years off and on I have been trying to trace the history our MK 2 Ruby FMC 849 which I understand was a North London reg. Apparently  Golders Green.

A number of years ago I contacted the A7 owners club (London) they informed me the car was once owned by a club member name unknown, but the last known owner again many years ago was a Mr B E Morane of Denmark Terrace, Brighton. The Ruby next surfaced down in deepest West Wales, where I purchased the Ruby, spent many long Months restoring our Ruby.  Since when Pat and I have had many great adventures and made some good friends along the way.

I know it is a long shot but you never know. Thanks in anticipation. S&P.
