Period film of Austin radiator manufacture - Nick Salmon - 21-01-2021

I don't recall seeing this one before. Period film of Austin radiator manufacture. I do wonder if those doing the soldering survived to an old age...

I always wonder if the chap doing the soft soldering about 4.30 mins, takes his apron off at the end of the day and stands it up in the corner.

I have seen this before and curious about the material used in the corrugated strips. They look very bright on film and though they have been sitting in rolls, don't appear to have any surface corrosion. Zinc plated brass perhaps?
