Rare dynamo - Parazine - 20-01-2021
on eBay currently. Mis-labelled as a "DFL", it is in fact a CAV DF as fitted to the very first Austin 7's which did not have a starter motor fitted.

The end cap is from a later DFL but the dynamo itself is a DF.

Many DFLs have caps saying DF

Spot on.
I guess they are rear.
I have two in the shed for my 23 build, so dont need a third.
they have one big problem, who actually needs one.
Yes it's the DF for 1922 / 1923 cars without starters. But they only put out something like 5amps max.
Probably why it's just listed as for chummys. The buyer wont realise it's not what they actually need.
