Breaking news. Just discovered, in a forgotten Milton Keynes storage depot, two-hundred doubled-wrapped, hermetically sealed, Mulliner-bodied, Army-issue 2-seater Austin Sevens. Freshly recommissioned - and now fitted new Coventry-Climax 120 bhp ex-water-pump engines - they are ready to patrol seeking lockdown breakers. Here's the first, ready for action, with Sgt, McPherson at the wheel.

In Army adage, if it moves, salute it. If it doesn't, pick it up. If you can't pick it up, paint it. Shouldn't the military seven be a shade of green?

Sgt McPherson seems to have been demoted too...

I kept telling the AI program to paint it green, but it point-blank refused. It kept saying, "Computer says no." Eventually, having threatened it with a big stick - and told it that the plug would be pulled out as well, it did, partially oblige:
