What a super film, shot by someone who obviously found MG's and Singer Le Mans sexier than Austin 7's.  Very evocative.

The '34 Colmore saw 163 entrants with 155 starters. Ten of these were Sevens, two of which were supercharged. None featured in the Club Awards but " thirds " were gained by three cars.

One of the supercharged cars was Hugh Conway's Ulster, OG 9262.

 C.A.N May describes the 1934 Colmore in detail from a competitors viewpoint in his 1945 book ' Wheelspin' 
 Had the film been of a trial in Derbyshire 20 years later, Mike and I would have probably been the small boys
 in school caps.
