Ideas about what to do with this? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ROSENGART-KIT-OF-PARTS-WHY-NOT-AUSTIN-SEVEN-HOP-UP-CHUMMY-TRIAL-7/293830409450?hash=item4469a83cea:g:BrgAAOSwAjVfrqyV

I was just thinking of the super long wheelbase Rosengart limo in the Source book... (which I now find is actually a British Cadogan... p225...)

I find the front axle and braking system rather appealing. I also approve of the Rosengart side water manifold.

Stuart

Indeed, the designer appears to have beefed everything up - and I believe that the body was also of substantial construction. Laden with père, mère et trois enfants the performance must have been sedentary - especially when carrying an ample French-style lunch along the lines of that in my favourite book, 'Wind in the Willows':
‘What’s inside it?’ asked the Mole.
‘There’s cold chicken inside it,’ replied the Rat briefly; ‘coldtonguecoldhamcoldbeefpickledgherkinssaladfrenchrollscresssandwichespottedmeatgingerbeerlemonadesodawater——’

Could make a display at Moreton in marsh 2022?

My question to Tony is how much paint would one require.

John Mason,

Is the bit of tin attached to the handbrake sufficient to claim the use of the original chassis?

My fancy is the cast iron garden roller! Sooo much nicer than the more common concrete variety. Of course I don't have a use for it but when did that ever stop one.

In my view a complete mish mash of parts . Radiator 32-33 , left hand drive 35-36 , fully enclosed wheels 49-50.
Caveat emptor.

Never mind the quality, feel the width!
