Hello can anyone tell me the correct size of a RP saloon windscreen please (1932)

The chrome on brass RP screen which I bought for my Van is 35 5/8" edge to edge width across the top x 12 3/4" if you ignore the top hinge or 13 1/4" if you include the top hinge depth wise.

No Graham, the dimensions I gave above were the maximum external size of the windscreen frame both excluding and including the top hinge. Unfortunately I don't have the precise size of the actual glass sheet as my screen is complete with its original glass intact.

The glass size for the windscreen is
34 15/16" x 11 15/16" x 1/4"

Hi Graham - do bear in mind that a RP screen is toughened not laminated.
This is better in this car.

Interestingly the Austin Service Journal shows the RP windscreen glass could be had in either " Plain , " Triplex " or " Triplex Toughened ".
