That is truly lovely and nicely proportioned. Is the bulkhead in the original place or has it been moved at all? The bonnet appears to be longer than usual.

Regards,

Jamie.

That is simply stunning, there is nothing about the coupe that can be improved upon, in my view.

Wonderful work, very well done to all involved, every update is a thrill.

I'd take a train to Glasgow to get a drive o' that! I might even walk...

The tool kit is a nice touch

There is a drinks cabinet too - true.

Fitted Tool Kit- now there's posh  Rolleyes

I am not usually a fan of specials but that is really excellent- - is it heavy ?

RE: Highland Sports Coupe project... - Ruairidh Dunford - 20-03-2022

It is incredibly light, so far…

I have been reading through this thread again and really am impressed with the woodwork and the with styling. The look is very much what I have tried, but so far failed, to draft for when I start my Ruby-based special.

I was wondering what type of plywood was used for the structural parts, such as the wheel arches. Is it standard ply, relying on decent painting to protect it, or is it a WBP or marine ply?

Regards,

Jamie.
