I'm getting some wheels rebuilt and I think the current rims may have been changed in the past as they are not all the same. Could somebody confirm the original rim width for the 1933/34 19" wheels please. I'll be using 350x19 Avon Sidecar tyres. Thanks

Hi Rob,
The wheel rim you need is a WM3 which has a 2.15" internal width.
If you need wheels built suggest you try Nick Mouat (07717 570814) he did a great job for me.
Also I would suggest Longstone's 350 x 19 over the Avons. The Longstone tyre is about the same price and in my opinion better suited to a car.
I must stress I have no commercial interest in either of these firms just personal experience of good service.

I already have the nearly new Avons, as they came on the car. Shame they didn't get the wheels rebuilt before putting new tyres on. But will bear in mind your comments.
