Slow and cramped. - Phil Kingdom - 01-06-2020

Next time you think you Austin 7 is a bit slow and cramped, spare a thougth for Spacex crew, with all of todays modern tech, a support crew of thousands and no traffic to worry about it still took them 19 hours to travelĀ  262 miles and a further 2 hours to get out of the cabin.

Ha ha!

If you want some idea of what they have been up to, try this sim. So far, in half a dozen attempts, I have destroyed the ISS each time - but then I only know about steering wayward A7s, not multi billion pound space capsules!

I wonder if Bob reminds them about steering arms at every opportunity. ?

Thanks for sharing Nick!

Just in case you wondered what a successful approach looks like Smile

I used a plumb bob hanging in the garage to position my RP correctly, when it was over the rad cap I had docked.

Much the same principle!!

Being a Tesla product I assume it's has autopilot so the docking should be hands free, probably much simpler than driving around London.
