BPF bulb orientation - andrew34ruby - 09-05-2020 Can anyone help please. I have cut down a fifties British pre Focus headlight reflector to fit in a 6 1/2 inch Ruby headlight bowl and with the correct Ruby glass. The bulb has a cutout to locate in the reflector/bulbholder but I need to know which way up the reflector should sit, in the car. Should the notch in the bulb be to the top, the bottom, or to one side? RE: BPF bulb orientation - Colin Morgan - 09-05-2020 On mine, the notch is at the bottom. RE: BPF bulb orientation - Robert Leigh - 09-05-2020 The important thing is to end up with the dip filament above the main filament. Put the bulb in and set the reflector afterwards. Robert Leigh |
