Good morning all!
I have been directed to this page by the Pre War Austin 7 club North West and its good to meet like minded individuals!
I have a 1934 RP Saloon (I've included a picture) that I bought a couple of years ago and thoroughly enjoy! I am using our current situation to do some jobs for the car including trying to track down any of her history!
I purchased her from a gentleman (who may well be on this forum!) in the Newcastle area and my understanding is that she was originally registered in the Warrington area. The gentleman who I purchased her off had owned her for some 53 years and I know the owner before that was a chap called Dave Catton but I have little history other than that.
I know this is a long shot but if anyone happens to recognise the car then any further history would be great!
Nice to meet you all anyway, I'm sure I'll be back when I run out of talent halfway through a job!

Welcome to this super site. I never cease to be amazed at the detail available from the friendly members, I've learned so much since I became a happy 7 owner.
You mentioned that you were in the North West and I'm trying to get a local group going. I'm in North Wales near Rhyl.
