Nippy front valance position - Scarlet O'Hara - 12-02-2020

Hi can anybody confirm the position of the front valance on a Type 65 / Nippy. Should it sit above or below the chassis rails from behind the radiator to the cut out for the drag link on the offside and behind the radiator to the cut out for the exhaust pipe on the near side.

The flitch panels on my Nippy follow a line from the bottom of the radiator shell and run at a slight angle down past the chassis rails. Can't say for sure mine is totally as it was originally intended.

Not sure if this helps, but best I've got at mo.  I am away at present, but happy to take some pics next week if you want. Car was restored in the early nineties by Chris Keevil and is the one in the Rinsey Mills book, so I'm hoping it's correct.
