Hi folks, Can anyone help with dating the following :- Engine No M164791.
Chassis No 164647, and Body No RP1479.  Thanks.

Hello Smiley - according to the chassis register here - http://a7ca.org/chassis-register/ where your car is recorded, it was first registered in December 1932...

By interpolation in Wyatt it looks like early November 1932. I am talking of manufacture not registration, so it lines up with HUgh's answer.

Have a look on your back axle on the diff casing. Mine is date stamped, and was within a few weeks of registration.

My RP is chassis number 166898, registered 1st February 1933 and with an axle dated (from memory) 21/12/32, so that would support Robert's estimate of early November 1932 for yours.

Thanks for all the replies folks, I will now look at the back axle to see if if that dates ok.
