where to buy exhaust - andrew34ruby - 09-07-2019

I need an exhaust system for my '34 Ruby. The Seven Workshop have none so I'm wondering where else might have one please?

I don’t know what the delay in supply is but Seven Workshop exhausts are very good and could be worth waiting for if supply is imminent.
I hold no brief for them but do have one fitted to my car — it went in well without a struggle and produces a nice note on the overrun which is a pleasant bonus.

Apparently the company that makes them for Seven Workshop has new owners, and it's just not known when there might be some available.

You could try ALDERTON GARAGE who are Austin Specialists and did supply one for my RP.

You could also try Tony Leslie at Holmesdale 7s. I had a SWB exhaust from him a few years back.

Another possibility would be Malcolm Dixon. I don't know if he covers a variety of makes, but he supplied a very good stainless exhaust for my Morris 8 just a few days ago. Here's his advert from the Morris Register club magazine from a few months back.

Thanks Smiley. They list the exhaust parts so I've emailed to see if they have any in stock.

Mark at Alderton ncertainly seemed to have shorter side emission exhausts in stock on a recent visit, and that is what I will change to when the long rambling pipe under the Ruby finally rots away.
