Original Air - Colin Morgan - 04-07-2019

Yesterday I had the chance to put original pre-war air in my tyres and couldn't resist.  At the back of a shed on a friend's 'plot' was an old compressor - Jim said it had been sitting there unused since his grandfather's days.  Cracking a connection, the tank was still holding pressure.  With a line attached, letting the air out of my Ruby tyres, I filled them up again.  I couldn't feel any difference back on the road, but it was good to know I was riding on authentic 1930s air.

Ive known guys who have been to the remains of the Lambretta Factory in Italy do the same, so they can have genuine Italian air in their bikes!!
