You would think I would remember this after all the times I've had to do it over the last 45 years but unfortunately not.
I have an original coil on my car, date stamped June 1937, and this has CB and SW connections on it.
As you will know, the replacements now have - and + on them so which way round must I put them please?
The car is still positive earth.
I promise I'll write the answer down again this time and put it in the same safe place as I did last time!

The contact points earth the coil so + to distributor, - from ignition switch. Terry.
