Hi Charles

I’m using gears from my stock and just needed to know how well the mismatched pair worked out. If they had been out I’d probably have bit the bullet and bought some new ones from Dave Dye.  As it is the timing seems OK and the backlash is about 5 thou so although it might be a tad noisy it should run OK.

Cheers

Howard

I'm with Steve on this along with the salt problem we have the seasonal traffic chaos two cars parked on double yellow lines brought grid lock to the local shopping center.

It never ceases to amaze me the number of people who subject themselves to abject misery just to do Christmas Shopping. On the outskirts of Sheffield, next to the M1 motorway is the Meadowhall Shopping Centre. It has 280 shops and free parking for over 12,500 vehicles. It is best avoided between now and the new year, particularly at weekends unless you're a complete masochist.

The shops don't open until 10am but the perimeter roads will clog up with people trying to get in until the place closes at 10pm. The police and the Urban traffic control centre do their best in trying to manage the traffic, but you can't get a quart into a pint pot and queues are inevitable. It even backs up onto the M1 at times causing mayhem everywhere.

It is why it's favourite nickname is Murderhell.

Ah yes, I remember it well.

Reckless said "It is best avoided between now and the new year, " IMHO the last six words are redundant

Applies to most shopping malls, up and down the country. I'll be avoiding Cribbs Causeway and Cabot Circus in Bristol like the plague until February.

Hi All

No problem on our shopping mall….On street parking even although a dwindling number of useful shops!

Cheers

You didn't need to take it to the Charity Shop; I'd have given you money for it!

Ha ha!  Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

For a small town we’re inundated with charity shops. Half a dozen on this street alone!

Cheers

s the Panda is still 'hors de combat', although I am assured that the bits are at last on their way, the Seven has been doing duty as the daily driver. Went to Wrexham yesterday and came back in driving rain and high winds. The little car doesn't like high winds! Today I had to go to Welshpool. Much calmer weather and a bit of sunshine going, but snow over the Berwyns on the way back. Hey Ho! The joys of winter Sevenning.
