Hi Mike and David

“Your wish is my command”, as Aladdin would often say.
Here you go. Norman has his own stand at this Show , inc a marquee
To garage them overnight!!!

Fantastic! If you said I could choose just one to take home, I don't think I would be able to make a decision!

fabulous! What is the thang about having the plates at an angle? Were they like that in contemporary photos?

RE: All Alloy Cup progress - AllAlloyCup - 02-06-2019

Hi Mike
Aladdin says to rub your lamps harder and your wish might be granted!

Im sure Norman has more magic motors in the works as well...

Hmm. I could really live with that coupe.

Thank you Bill!

I don't think so, Jon. The only example I can find with an angled front plate, and that much nearer vertical than any of Norman's, is the XL3 prototype, OK 3537:

These cars belong to "Norman" (Gus) Purves - he has an extraordinary collection.

He has a very pretty R Saloon as well.

Thanks Ruairidh, I knew it was Norman , why I typed Tom is a mystery!

Will those contributing to this thread please make suitable corrections.

Thanks

Bill,

It's called " Anno Domini". I do it all the time these days. My excuse is the predictive text app that i haven't got!

David.

The radiator shell is amazing and well worth waiting for!

Will start getting together all the fasteners, brackets etc so
I can refit it later in the week.

I can definitely see the light at the end of the tunnel now!
