Sad A sad day and a little bit of history lost, many an afternoon when I visited while travelling north on the A1 to either buy spares, have a chat or ask advice.

Sad indeed. I didn't shop at Kirby Wiske all that much myself but for a few years I travelled up and down between our office in Cranfield and our plant in Sunderland, & did once or twice take a 'wrong turn' about half way.
