Prewar Austin Drivers Club Inc. (Queensland)

The objects for the Prewar Austin Drivers Club are:-

• To make this club as accessible as possible, to all people with an interest in Austin Vehicles, up to and including 1940, whether they be owners, drivers or enthusiasts. (Other classic vehicles are welcome to join in our events.)
• To promote fellowship among members through rallies, workshops, outings, meetings, special interest speakers and the like.
• To promote the Austin Marque to the public, through displays, rallies, etc. and endeavour to further interest in Austin vehicles.

Members of the Prewar Austin Drivers Club enjoy a great social atmosphere with the motor car as the focus. Our members have many interests relating to the Austin motor vehicle.

As a member of the Prewar Austin Drivers Club your enjoyment of your motoring hobby can be enhanced. Meetings are held every 2 months on the 1^st Wednesday of the month (February, April, June, August, October, December) at the Colmslie RSL at 8.00 p.m. after the dinner.

Club Dinner

Club members are encouraged to attend dinner at the Colmslie RSL (Wynnum Rd, Morningside) prior to each club meeting at 6.30 p.m. Dinner is $4.40 plus $1.10 for dessert.

Vintage Rallies

Our members are involved in many facets of vintage motoring. They are involved as drivers and navigators in many events at a club level throughout the year. There are many ways to enjoy vintage motoring. Let the Prewar Austin Drivers Club show you how!

Vehicle Restoration

Restoring cars is one of the main areas that club members are involved in. The club is a great forum for exchanging ideas on the subject, and often club members will assist each other finding those hard to get parts or services.

Club Merchandise

Each Full membership receives a Car Badge included as part of their joining package (i.e. $20 joining fee). All members also receive Club Stickers. Members are encouraged to purchase and wear Club Shirts and Caps.
