Thanks Ian. To be fair I was emailed those pictures last night. The eagle eyed will notice that it's a 12 stud block being a 10 stud with bonus studs. I like the approach though

This is a classic example of Keep it simple, no need for those long bolts down from the head, or needing to make a secure anchorage to the head.Easier to get the head on and off as well.

Yes not an uncommon mod and seems to work well, I know AITS expressed doubts on the old forum but it appears to be sound in practice.
