Wheels
#1
Hi all,

I am in the middle of building a special and I thought it was about time I sent my wheels off to be blasted and coated. Unfortunately all but one are only fit for the scrap pile. Before I start looking down the new rim and spoke route has anyone got 4 17” good wheels they are interested in selling?

Many thanks
Shayne

Thanks jonE.

Yes I have some good 17 inch wheels.

I'm surprised they destroyed the rims, they are usually good on 17 inch.

I can put you onto a cheap  beed blaster I use as well.

Hi Shayne
I have five that were reconditioned by Tudor wheels last year. Finished in stock silver. I have decided to use 15 inch on my single seat project so they are surplus to requirements.
Let me know if you are interested.
Best Wishes
Shane

I've also got a load of 17s that I was about to send to be blasted.
I can let you know how they come out.

Are they powder coated or enamel? I have the option for finish on the wheels I am just about to get done and have yet to make up my mind...

I'm told that powder coating can make it more difficult to replace spokes if you need to whilst "on the road".

Mine were powder coated, no issues, primed up well and 2 coats applied, must say she does look great on 17s
