Burley Steam & Vintage Vehicle Show, West Hampshire

Burley Park, New Forest, Hampshire, BH24 4DJ (NOT BH25 as the Flyer says)

10AM-5PM each day

Lovely show in the idyllic village of Burley. Too late to exhibit this year, but a great show for a visit. Usually a good number of Sevens on display, along with other vintage and classic cars, Traction Engines, Stationary engines, Tractors, commercial vehicles, crafts, live music etc

We had a good day in Burley on Saturday, there was a great range of machinery on display, and despite the forecast it was dry the majority of the day though . Only the one seven this year, though maybe there were others on the Sunday (the day we usually go). There were a good number of other pre war and post war classics including 3 Austin twelve-fours and 2 Austin tens. I hope you'll enjoy the photos.

The seven, Ian Mason-Smith's well travelled 1926 AD Tourer

1928 Austin 12/4 Clifton Tourer

2 1928 Austin 12/4 Burnham Saloons

1931 Ford Model AF Fordor Saloon

1934 Austin 10/4 Saloon

1938 Austin 10 Cambridge Saloon

And a 1902 Locomobile Steam Car. I spoke to the owner, and he is hoping to have it running soon.

More to follow...

This little miniature we saw again on the Sunday at Twyford water works (See other writeup). It is a scale model of a burrell.

This one a miniature of a showmans engine with a miniature fair organ.
