This link to ebay photo for sale. My dad used to take me to the racing, we used to go on his bike with a seat for me on the crossbar. We used to get a "hedge ticket", remember those?

There are 2 other photos from the same seller.

Six photos in total - nice but a bit expensive at twelve quid apiece.

180831 so a '65'. Got so many web-snaffled pics of this car, with all sorts of wing combos! Wonder who it is/was? There was info added in 2007 on survivors register whichI think I chased up but didnt get anywhere. Anyone know it?

It is Vic Hood's car, Jon. See "Gallery".

I am interested by the tail on his special here

http://www.austinsevenfriends.co.uk/foru...iew&id=352

because it looks so similar to that on one of my Cambridge built cars. Probably just a coincidence. Does anyone know more?

Regards,
Stuart

Beat me to it, Michael!

Pretty sure it was another car. He was a frequent competitor in the south of England back then.
The car behind Vic at Brunton is Simplicity, by the way!

I've just noticed that the first of those Ibsley photos shows the front row.of the grid with Simplicity on the far right, her 1st 750F race.

This one, Roger? I did't see it on the eBay listings, but I posted it in the Gallery six months ago (Ibsley Airfield, 1953):
