The mechanicals of the engine are made up entirely of discarded parts from other engines (an experiment in frugality)  - I always expect imminent disaster!

The head was cracked 11 years ago when I first fitted it...

Is the rear n/s engine mounting bolt missing for a reason?

It happens, I guess. I thought at first you were emulating the "strip out all the unnecessary weight" ethos of the EV... or perhaps allowing for chassis flex. Big Grin

Ah. That was meant for rekkers.

Perhaps I shall put the engine bay of my chummy up and people can advise what i'm missing.

With respect to the stick. Is that not a universal fitment? The RP has a childs cricket wicket. The chummy a bit of dowl. The RL only requires an eyeball
